The Minneapolis Metropolis Council has unanimously voted to advance a thought that can also in the future stop away with town’s police department, following the killing of George Floyd. (June 26)
MINNEAPOLIS – A worn Minneapolis police officer charged in the killing of George Floyd has been launched from detention heart, constant with Hennepin County detention heart records.
Tou Thao, 34, is the third worn officer accused in Floyd’s death to be launched on bond. He posted $750,000 bond on Saturday, the Minneapolis Huge name-Tribune reported. All four officers on the scene of Floyd’s death had been fired and face criminal prices.

Derek Chauvin, the officer who pressed his knee to Floyd’s neck, is charged with 2d-level homicide, third-level homicide and 2d-level manslaughter with culpable negligence. He remains in police custody.
